2011 Award Winner:

James I. O'Neill

 The Bernie Berman Sportsmanship Award is given by the softball umpires, to the school  
 program that best demonstrates the ideals of sportsmanship during the softball season.

 A committee of CHVBGSO Inc. determines the recipient of the award based on the  
 voting of all of the umpires and their respective experiences during the season. All 
 factors of each school's participation are taken into consideration relative to this 
 prestigious award.

 A banner is awarded to the school, which can be displayed in their gymnasium, as a 
 proud trophy recognizing superior sportsmanship attitude.
